Hair & Make-Up

We have a team of approved 'MAC pro' hair and make-up artists for large wedding parties. We stay at the forefront of our industry and keep current with changing trends and the development of new products by continually attending advanced master classes. Much of our work is in fashion styling for magazines keeping us at the cutting edge of our industry.

Preparation:
Trials can take place 1 month to 1 year in advance. It's best your hair for a trial is as it will be for the wedding day or portrait shoot. Normally I ask brides to wash and dry their hair the night before and not to use straighteners or products, straighteners make hair slippery and products add weight to your hair and may make it sticky. Don't worry if you will have a tan nearer the time, we will match your skin tone and colour as we see it. Your eyebrows are best prepared and shaped in advance and lips well moisturized the night before.

I like to see the wedding dress (or a picture) or other clothes you may be wearing so that I can see the neck line and the simplicity or extravagance of your dress. Any images of hair and make-up you like and equally, don't like are good to have at hand to discuss. I carry sample hair accessories but if you're having specific accessories or hair pieces then try to have them available at the trial. I will spend a few hours with you and I will take photos, I also take notes on the make-up used and the hair design. We encourage clients to stay in touch and we're always happy to give advise on products and styling.
